OREO COOKIE FRENCH TOAST

15 MINUTES

SERVES: 4


INGREDIENTS:

•​​ 10 Oreo cookies
•​​ 2 eggs
•​​ 300ml milk
•​​ 4 slices of medium white bread / brioche
•​​ 2 tablespoon chocolate hazelnut spread
•​​ 2 tablespoon butter
•​​ 10-12 strawberries
•​​ 2 scoops of Dark chocolate ice cream

Beat the egg with the milk, add the bread and leave to soak for 1 min. Turn once.

Fry in the butter over a medium heat for 4 mins, then flip and cook for 4 mins more, until golden on both sides. Spread the chocolate-hazelnut spread over 1 piece of toast. Top with the second piece of toast and cut diagonally.

Take 8 Oreo biscuits, remove the cream and blitz them in the food processor.

Purée strawberries. You can add some unused Oreo cream if you prefer it more sweet.

Serve sandwiched french toast hot on a bed of the strawberry purée and crushed Oreo. Add a scoop of dark chocolate ice cream (Green & Blacks have a great option) .. then decorate it with fresh berries, edible flowers and Oreo biscuits. Enjoy!
