EAT THE SEASONS: PEARS

Pears are just as appetising cooked as they are fresh and are so versatile, working beautifully in both sweet and savoury recipes. There are so many varieties around the world but for most the season ends in January/February so now is the time to make the most of them. They’re a great source of Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C, Potassium and Copper.
