To mark its arrival, we spent the day with Anna Barnett at Restaries, a restorative retreat surrounded by fields and trees. Designed for slowing down and reconnecting.
Anna is a London-based cook, author, mother, podcaster, and creator whose work seamlessly blends food, design, and storytelling. Around the table, she gathers her family for a quiet evening in the Cider Store. The kitchen opens into the dining and living room, centred around the fire and softened by ochre hues.
Anna’s approach to food is thoughtful and unfussy. She cooks with seasonal ingredients, favouring flavour and ease over formality.
